या कुन्दendu तुषार हार धवला, या शुभ्र वस्त्रावृता ।
या वीणावर दंड मण्डितकरा, या श्वेत पद्मासना ॥
Ya Kundendu Tushar Haar Dhavla, Ya Shubhra Vastravritha.
Ya Veena Vara Danda Manditakara, Ya Shveta Padmasana.
She who is as fair as the jasmine flower, the moon, and a garland of snow,
Who is dressed in white clothes,
Who is adorned with a Veena (musical instrument),
Who is seated on a white lotus.
या ब्रह्माच्युत शंकर प्रसन्ना, या नवदुर्गा दाक्षिणा ।
या विद्या या विनयमाता, या शुभ्र वस्त्रावृता ॥
Ya Brahmachyuta Shankara Prasanna, Ya Navadurga Dakshina.
Ya Vidya Ya Vinayamata, Ya Shubhra Vastravritha.
She who is the daughter of Brahma, Vishnu (Achyuta), and Shiva (Shankara),
Who is the benevolent one among the Navadurgas,
Who is the mother of knowledge and humility,
Who is dressed in white clothes.
या शुभ्रवस्त्रावृता, या वीणा वरदंडकरा ।
या श्वेत पद्मासना, या ब्रह्माच्युत शंकर प्रसन्ना ॥
Ya Shubhra Vastravritha, Ya Veena Varadandkara.
Ya Shveta Padmasana, Ya Brahmachyuta Shankara Prasanna.
She who wears white robes,
Who holds the Veena and the boon-giving staff,
Who sits on a white lotus,
Who is adored by Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva.
सर्वं ज्ञानेन पश्चात्त्य, माँ सरस्वती देवि ।
सर्वं विद्या कें परा, दैवीं माँ वरदानम् ॥
Sarvam Jnanena Paschattya, Maa Saraswati Devi.
Sarvam Vidya Kem Para, Daivi Maa Vardaanam.
Everything is known through knowledge; O Goddess Saraswati,
You are the supreme knowledge, the divine giver of blessings.
