नमो नमो दुर्गा देवीं, जगदम्बे शक्तिमती।
नवदुर्गा महादेवीं, जय जय कपीश्वरी॥
Namo Namo Durga Devi, Jagdambe Shaktimati.
Navdurga Mahadevi, Jai Jai Kapishwari.
Salutations to Goddess Durga, the powerful mother of the world. Salutations to the nine forms of Durga, the great goddess, victory to the queen of the monkeys (Lord Shiva’s consort).

जय दुर्गा माता भवानी, जय काली जय अंबिका।
संतन के संकट हरनी, प्रसन्न रहें जब ना कोई॥
Jai Durga Mata Bhavani, Jai Kali Jai Ambika.
Santan Ke Sankat Harni, Prasann Rahen Jab Na Koi.
Victory to Mother Durga Bhavani, victory to Kali and Ambika. She removes the troubles of her devotees and is always pleased with them.
दुर्गा गजानन महा बलवती, हरनि दूजा विश्व ममता।
भक्तन पर कृपा करो माता, जय जय मां भवानी माता॥
Durga Gajanan Maha Balvati, Harani Dooja Vishva Mamta.
Bhaktan Par Kripa Karo Mata, Jai Jai Maa Bhavani Mata.
Durga, elephant-faced and very powerful, removes the sorrows of the world. Please have mercy on your devotees, victory to Mother Bhavani.
जो कोई दुर्गा चालीसा जपे, भवसागर से पार होय।
संकट मिटे दुख दूर होय, महादेव की जय होय॥
Jo Koi Durga Chalisa Jape, Bhavsagar Se Paar Hoy.
Sankat Mite Dukh Door Hoy, Mahadev Ki Jai Hoy.
Whoever chants the Durga Chalisa crosses the ocean of worldly existence, all troubles and sorrows are removed, victory to Lord Mahadev.
भक्तों के संकट हरती माता, भक्तों की संकट हरनी।
नवरात्रि में जो करें जप, सिद्धि हो और मन मनी॥
Bhakton Ke Sankat Harti Mata, Bhakton Ki Sankat Harni.
Navratri Mein Jo Karen Jap, Siddhi Ho Aur Man Mani.
Mother removes the troubles of devotees. Those who chant during Navratri gain success and wishes fulfilled.
